GOLDEN STAY AT GOLDEN SUNSET VILLAGE RESORT AND SPA

Have you had that one experience when you're in one place and you don't even want to go home? Well, it happened to me. As I was so busy browsing the internet, I've spotted some pictures that really caught my attention, pictures of different resorts in the Philippines. Getting tired of  work and everything, I've decided to take a break and have some vacation over the weekend.

After reviewing different resorts and browsing every sites I know, I've decided to check out the ones in Calatagan, Batangas. One resort caught my attention, The Golden Sunset Village Resort and Spa. I suddenly made a reservation for a room for me and my partner.

After merely 4 hours of travel, smiling faces of the staff welcomed us. They gave us free welcome drinks plus a free lunch voucher, a boon for our then hungry tummies.

On our way to our room, we have to ride a "jeep". Yes, that's how big the resort is. The room is simple and clean. But instead of having a king-sized bed, what we got was two single-beds. Not so much of a disappointment for a not so picky couple who just want to have a little bit of relaxation. We had a quick wash up before we went to check out what the resort had in store for us.

We visited The Outdoor Museum, Birds De Paradiso, and Serendipity Spa. It is perfect for families  or couples who would like to bond because they have different activities to choose from. They could go fishing at Palaisdaan;  sing their hearts out at Octave KTV Bar. They could also enjoy boating, biking, play billiards and table tennis, or simply have fun at the playground. 

Our 3-day stay at The Golden Sunset Village Resort and Spa is indeed a wonderful experience. Yes, it is old, but it is clean and well-maintained. We were so spoiled by the staff that we felt like royalties. We really enjoyed our vacation and are planning to go back. So if you want to have an enjoyable and relaxing vacation, I strongly suggest The Golden Sunset Village Resort and Spa. It is a real "paradise".
