Families and friends gathered to a picnic-themed movie marathon at the NUVALI soccer ground. Everyone was thrilled to see the movies that were thoroughly selected by the organizers to make sure that the night would be filled with screams of terror. Satisfied smiles shining from the faces of the viewers after the movie marathon was proof of the success of the outdoor film activity.
The film screening started at 5:00 pm and ended at around 1:30 am. The
films were shown according to the level of terror it could elicit from the
audience. The screening started with Zombieland, followed by The Sixth Sense,
and, lastly, The Conjuring which was categorized as Rated R for containing
disturbingly violent and terrifying scenes as per IMDb.com.
To make the night more knee-quaking, games were held at intervals during the
marathon such as Zombie Hunters where people got the chance to chase after
zombies, take photos around the area and at the Photo Haunt wall. The participants
also got a chance to solve the Zombie Mystery to win prizes.
Karen Vizacarra-Virey also known as “DJ Dylan” of rock alternative
radio station NU 107.5 hosted the whole event. The NUVALI’s signature film
activity was made possible with the joint effort of NUVALI and Sky Cable with
the help of Nutrilin, La Filipina, Yellow Cab, Amaia, OLX and Pambatang Solmux.
